Autumn Open Days Student Ambassador 2023

We are seeking undergraduate students to work as part of our undergraduate Open Days, in person and on-campus.

In-person and on campus events will require you to be at the open day in person, where you will help visitors around the campus, talk about your experiences, support in course talks and staff the stands and registration points.

Student Ambassadors are a key role at our recruitment events and we would love you to share your experiences of being a student at Sheffield Hallam with prospective students. We have a variety of roles available, from representing your course and supporting the student life team. 

In-person and on campus open days
Dates: Sunday 8th October, Saturday 28th October and Sunday 26th November 2023
Hours: From 7.45am to approx. 3.30pm
Pay: Level 1 Pay £10.90 per hour inline with Real Living Wage
Closing date for applications: Tuesday 29th August 2023 midnight
This advert is ONLY open to undergraduate courses but across all the Colleges
You must be available for the event dates (Sunday 8th October, Saturday 28th October and Sunday 26th November 2023) and throughout the full time of the shift (7.45am - 3.30pm). Please also note there will be a mandatory training sessions held on Wednesday 4th October and Thursday 5th October (YOU WILL ONLY BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE DATES) which you will be required to attend.

You must also have the following documents to hand, to enable the Right To Work checks to be completed before working:
• Either a Passport or Birth Certificate (Could be a current or expired passport, but it must be a A4 Birth Certificate which includes your parents full names and occupation)
• National Insurance Number (This can be either the card or another official document such as a payslip with shows your NI number)
A DRIVING LICIENCE WILL NOT BE COMPLIANT.
